Immunity Cubes

Ingredients:

  • 1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 2 oranges, peeled
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 3-inch piece of raw ginger, peeled
  • 3-inch piece of raw turmeric, peeled
  • 2 tsp honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method:

  • Add the chopped carrot, oranges, ginger and turmeric into a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the juice using a fine mesh strainer or a cloth into a bowl.
  • Stir in lemon juice, honey and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze for 5-7 hours.
  • Pop out a cube, dissolve it in warm water for quick immunity-boosting shot.
