Karela Chips

Ingredients:

  • Karela (Bitter Gourd) – 2 medium-sized
  • Salt – as needed
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Amchur Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Besan (Gram Flour) – 2-3 tosp
  • Rice Flour – 1 tosp
  • Oil – 1 tsp

Method:

  • Pat dry karela slices after soaking in salt water.
  • Mix all spices, flours, and salt in a bowl.
  • Add oil and mix to form a dry coating mixture.
  • Coat karela slices evenly with the spice mix.
  • Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  • Air-fry karela slices for 12-15 minutes, shaking midway.
  • Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy crispy chips!
