Ingredients:
- 4 cups green pea peels (prepared and soaked for 2 hours)
- ½ cup green peas
- 50 g butter
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup water + ½ cup (as needed)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Methods:
- Prepare the Peels: Clean the green pea pods, remove the strings, and soak them in water for 2 hours.
- Cook the Ingredients: In a pressure cooker, add the soaked peels, green peas, butter, milk, and water. Pressure cook for 4 whistles or until the peels turn soft.
- Blend: Once slightly cooled, blend the mixture until smooth.
- Strain: Pass the blended soup through a fine sieve to get a smooth texture. Add water to adjust consistency if needed.
- Season & Serve: Bring the soup back to a gentle boil, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh coriander and chili flakes. Serve hot.
