Moringa Soup

Ingredients:

  • Moringa / Drumstick leaves – 1 cup
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Onion – 1 small / ½ of 1 big
  • Cumin – ½ tsp
  • Peppercorns – ½ tsp
  • Soaked Moong Dal – ¼ cup
  • Water – 1 ½ cups
  • Salt – as needed

Methods:

  • Add all ingredients to a pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles.
  • Let it cool down and grind into a smooth paste.
  • Transfer it back to the pot, adjust consistency with water, and add a pinch of turmeric and ¼ tbsp hing.
  • Bring it to a boil, and your wholesome Moringa Soup is ready to enjoy!
