Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Butter (or Olive Oil)
- 4-5 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Oregano
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp Oats Powder
- 1 cup Milk
- Fresh Coriander, chopped (for garnish)
- Sourdough Bread, toasted
Method:
- Heat butter (or olive oil) in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until it turns golden.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they soften.
- Season with chili flakes, black pepper, oregano, and salt. Mix well.
- Sprinkle in the oats powder and stir for a minute to combine.
- Slowly add milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Let the mixture thicken.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped coriander.
- Spoon the mushroom mixture over toasted sourdough bread
