Navratri Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients (Makes 2-3 Sandwiches)
1.Potatoes – 3-4 medium (boiled & mashed)
2.Sabudana – ½ cup
3.Salt & Red Chilli Powder – As per taste
4.Coriander Powder – ¼ tbsp
5.Cumin Powder – ¼ tbsp
6.Aamchur Powder – 1 tsp
7.Green Chilli – 1 (chopped)
8.Ginger – 1-inch (grated)
9.Coriander Leaves – 1 tsp
10.Paneer – As required (slices for stuffing)
11.Makhana Powder – 8-10 fox nuts (For binding, if needed)
12.Oil – For greasing
Method:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, sabudana, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, aamchur powder, chopped green chilli, grated ginger, and coriander leaves.
2. If the mixture feels too soft, add powdered makhana to improve binding.
3. Grease your sandwich maker lightly with oil.
4. Spread a layer of the prepared mixture evenly.
5. Stuff with paneer and cover with another layer of the mixture.
6. Cook on low to medium flame until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
7. Serve hot.
