One Pot Meal Sprout Rice

Ingredients:

  • Sprouted Moong 1 cup
  • Rice washed and soaked 1 cup
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Dessicated coconut 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water 2 and 1/2 cups

Mathod:

  • Heat ghee, add cumin seeds.
  • Add desiccated coconut and spices, and salt sauté briefly.
  • Add sprouted moong, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add soaked rice and mix well.
  • Pour in water, bring to a boil.
  • Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
  • Fluff and serve!
