Ingredients:
- Sprouted Moong 1 cup
- Rice washed and soaked 1 cup
- Ghee 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- Dessicated coconut 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water 2 and 1/2 cups
Mathod:
- Heat ghee, add cumin seeds.
- Add desiccated coconut and spices, and salt sauté briefly.
- Add sprouted moong, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add soaked rice and mix well.
- Pour in water, bring to a boil.
- Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
- Fluff and serve!
