Apple Oats Granola

Ingredients:

  • 100g oats
  • 2 medium apples (chopped or grated)
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 30ml coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Chop the apples into small cubes or grate them finely.
  • In a large bowl, mix oats, flaxseed, chia seeds, cinnamon, ginger powder, and a pinch of salt.
  • Add the chopped apples and melted coconut oil to the bowl, mixing well to coat evenly.
  • Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking tray in an even layer.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  • Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight jar.
