Sattu Parantha

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup sattu
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • 2 Green chillies
  • Small pc of Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Mango pickle masala

Method:

  • In a bowl, combine 1/3 cup sattu, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves, 2 finely chopped green chillies, and the grated ginger
  • Add 2 teaspoons of mango pickle masala and salt to taste
  • Mix all the ingredients well. Add a little water, a spoonful at a time, to bind the mixture. The filling should be moist but not too wet
  • Take one dough ball of wheat flour, dust it with flour, and roll it out into a small circle
  • Place a spoonful of the sattu filling in the center of the rolled dough
  • Heat a tawa or flat skillet over medium heat
  • Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa and cook
  • Flip the paratha and apply ghee or oil on the cooked side
  • Flip again and apply ghee or oil on the other side
  • Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy
