Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup dalia –soaked in water for atleast 1 hour or more
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup- vegetable- onion, carrots, capsicum, cauliflower
- 1 green chilli-deseeded& chopped
- 1/4 tbsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
- 1 tej patta
- 1/4 tbsp haldi powder
- 1/4 tbsp red chilli powder
- Salt- acc.to taste
- 1-1/2 tbsp lemo juice
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1/4 tbsp garam masala
Method:
- Wash and soak dalia in enough water for about an hour.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a non stick kadhai or a pan. Add ½ tsp jeera. let it turn golden.
- Add ginger. green chilli, tej patta, black pepper together. reduce flame.
- Sauté onion for 2 minutes. Then add other half boiled vegetables. saute them again on medium flame.
- Add oats. saute and stir for 1 minute.
- Drain dalia through fine strainer. Stir roast for 2 minutes. add 1/2 cup water and mix.
- Cover wid lid and cook further for 3-4 minutes.stir occasionally in between.
- Remove from fire. Mix in the lemon juice, coriander and garam masala. serve hot.
