Smashed Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar/parmesan)

Method:

  • Steam the broccoli until tender but firm (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Smash the broccoli lightly with a glass or masher.
  • Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder, paprika powder, salt, and pepper for seasoning.
  • Top with grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 8-10 minutes until slightly crispy.
  • Serve warm and enjoy a flavorful, healthy broccoli
