Lauki Ki Kheer

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grated lauki/ghia/doodhi(bottle gourd.
  • 4 tbsp of suga.
  • 1 L skimmed mil.
  • 1/2 tbsp cardamom powde.
  • 4-5 Almond.
  • 4-5 Raisin.

Method:

  • 1. Bring the milk to boil in a heavy bottom pan.
  • 2. Reduce for 20 minutes on low flame and stir occasionally.
  • 3. Add the grated lauki and cook till the milk thickens.
  • 4. Add the sugar and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • 5. Add the dry fruits and the cardamom powder and serve.
