Chaas Cubes
Ingredients
- 1 cup coriander leaves (Dhaniya)
- ½ cup mint leaves (Pudina)
- 1-inch ginger (Adrak)
- 1 green chilli (Hari Mirch)
- ½ tsp black salt (Kala Namak)
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder (Jeera Powder)
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2-3 tbsp water (only if needed for blending)
Method
- Wash the coriander and mint leaves thoroughly.
- Add coriander, mint, ginger, green chilli, black salt, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, and lemon juice to a blender.
- Blend into a thick, smooth paste. Add just 2-3 tbsp water if needed.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray.
- Freeze for 6-8 hours or overnight until solid.
- Store the cubes in an airtight container in the freezer.
How to Use –
- Add 1-2 green cubes to 1 glass (200-250 ml) of plain chaas (buttermilk).
- Stir or blend until the cube melts completely.
