Baked Mushrooms And Aubergines

Ingredients:

  • Mushrooms, sliced
  • Baingan (aubergines) diced
  • Oil
  • Zeera
  • Onions, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Tulsi,chopped
  • Atta, slightly roasted
  • Skimmed milk
  • Bread crumbs, dried, powdered
  • Tomato,de- seeded,chopped

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 F/ 160 C
  • Mix the milk into the flour gradually, to avoid lumps. Bring to a boil. Simmer for a minute.
  • Heat the oil; add the zeera , when it splutters,add onions and stir-roast over high heat, till well covered with oil.
  • Add the mushrooms and baingan; stir-roast over high till the vegetables and half cooked.
  • Add the milk mixture, salt , black pepper powder, tulsi, red chilli powder. Mix well. Transfer to an oven-proof serving dish.
  • Sprinkle the bread crumbs on top and then arrange the tomato pieces on top.
  • Bake for ½ hour before serving. Serve hot.
