Fruit Cream

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup raw makhana
  • 8 cashews
  • 1 cup soaked & peeled almonds
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 3 tbsp honey  or  2 soaked dates  or 4–5 soaked raisins
  • 1.5 glass milk of you choice (add almond milk for a vegan alternate)
  • 1 bowl fruits of choice (apple, banana, grapes, pomegranate etc.)

Method

  1. In a bowl add makhana, almonds, cashews, strawberries, milk and either soaked raisins or soaked dates.
  2. Let everything soak for 20 minutes so the makhana softens.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a serving bowl.
  5. If you did not add dates or raisins while soaking, add honey now and mix well.
  6. Add chopped fruits of your choice.
  7. Chill slightly and serve cold
