Jowar Prantha

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • ½ cup grated beetroot
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 120g grated paneer
  • ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp crushed ajwain
  • ¼ cup sattu/besan
  • 1 cup Jowar Atta
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp oil + extra for cooking

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Add water & knead into a soft dough.
  2. Apply oil on parchment paper & press dough flat with wet fingers.
  3. Cook on a hot tawa with ghee on both sides till golden.
  4. Serve hot with dahi, chutney, or achar.
