Lauki Chilla

Ingredients

  • Grated Bottle Gourd (Lauki)
  • Grated Carrot
  • Sliced Onion
  • ⁠Chopped Cabbage
  • Chopped Coriander
  • Gram Flour (Besan)
  • Curd
  • Salt, Black Pepper, Red Chilli Powder
  • Kasuri Methi (dried fenugreek leaves)

Method:

  1. In a bowl, first add grated lauki.
  2. Add grated carrot, sliced onion, cabbage, and chopped coriander.
  3. Mix in gram flour (besan) and curd.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, red chilli powder, and kasuri methi.
  5. Mix it and Make a batter and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Heat a tawa, spread a little oil, and pour the batter into a round chilla.
  7. Cook on both sides until golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with curd or homemade mint chutney.
