Lentil bread
Ingredients
- 150g dried red lentils (soaked 2 hrs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 20g psyllium husk
Method
- Soak lentils 2 hrs → drain & rinse
- Blend lentils + oil + yoghurt + spices → thick batter
- Add baking powder + psyllium → mix
- Shape 1 bun (wet hands)
- Bake at 180°C for 25-30 mins & Done.
- How to use (important) – Best for breakfast / lunch
- Pair with paneer / eggs / hummus → makes it a complete meal
- Don’t eat like regular bread (portion matters)
