Oats Bread Upma

Ingredients:

  • Oats 1/2 Cup
  • Bread 2 Slices
  • Onion Chopped 1 Medium
  • Green Chillies To Taste
  • Lemon Juice 2 Tablespoons
  • Hing, Mustard Seeds, Jeera
  • Chilli Powder To Taste
  • Chopped Fresh Coriander
  • Salt To Taste

Method:

  • Break the bread into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in non-stick pan, and hing, jeera and mustard seeds. When jeera change colour and the mustard seeds begin to splutter, add the onion and sauté for few minutes till translucent.
  • Add bread pieces, salt, oats and mix well. Add the chilli powder and toss to mix. Sprinkle some water over the mixture and cook for two minutes.
  • Add the lime juice, green chillies and chopped fresh coriander. Toss well to mix and serve hot.
