Soya Cutlets

Ingredients:

  • Soya granules
  • water to soak
  • Sirka(vinegar)
  • Eggs,slightly whisked or soya atta or besan
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic paste
  • Black pepper powder
  • Cloves, powdered
  • Badi elaichi , seeds only, powdered
  • Spring onions leaves only, finely chopped
  • Hari mirch, finely chopped
  • Red chilli powder
  • Oil for roasting
  • Onion rings and lemon wedges for garnishing

Method:

  • Soak the soya in water and sirka for half an hour and drain .
  • Blend soya well to make a smooth, doughty paste.
  • Add egg/besan/soya atta, salt, garlic paste, kali mirchi, cloves and elaichi powder, spring onions, hari mirch and red chilli powder.
  • Blend again and shape into flat round balls.
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan. Roast the cutlets to a golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve garnished with onion rings and lemon wedges.
