One Pot Weight Loss Khichdi recipe!
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 2 tbsp toor dal
- 2 tbsp masoor dal
- 2 tbsp urad dal
- 1/2 cup black chana (kala chana)
- 1/2 cup tbsp rice
- 1 cup chopped veggies (carrot, beans, bell peppers, capsicum, tomato)
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tbsp mustard oil
- 1 tsp jeera
- ½ tsp mustard seeds
- Few curry leaves
- 1 tsp crushed ginger-garlic
- 1-2 chopped green chillies
- Salt, pepper & coriander powder to taste
- 3-4 cups water
Method:
- Soak dals, chana & rice overnight.
- In a cooker, heat oil. Add jeera, mustard seeds & curry leaves.
- Add ginger-garlic, chillies & onion. Sauté well.
- Add veggies, tomatoes, spices.
- Add soaked ingredients and water. Pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
