No bread vada pav

No bread vada pav recipe in a weight-loss-friendly version 👇

 

Batter:

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 1/4 tsp haldi
  • 1/2 sachet eno
  • Water as required (make thick batter)

Potato Filling:

  • 2 tsp mustard oil
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp garlic-chilli paste
  • 6–7 curry leaves
  • 4 tsp haldi
  • boiled potatoes (mashed)
  • Salt + lemon juice to taste

 

Saute well, let cool, and make small balls.

Sukhi Chutney:

  1. Make 1 plain besan toast on tawa (no stuffing), cook till crispy
  2. Cool and blend it coarsely with:
  3. Roasted garlic
  4. Salt
  5. Red chilli powder

 

Sprinkle this magic chutney inside the vada pav and on top and enjoy your no-bread vada pav guilt-free!
