Black chana salad

Ingredients

Salad Base:

  • 1 cup lettuce (chopped)
  • 1 cup, bell pepper (chopped) (red, yellow, green)
  • 1/2 cucumber (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup fresh coriander
  • 1 cup boiled kala chana (black chickpeas)

 

For Dressing:

  • 80g low-fat paneer
  • 2 tbsp thick curd
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)
  • Few coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Blend all dressing ingredients into a smooth paste.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all salad ingredients.
  3. Add the dressing and toss well.
  4. Chill for 10 mins & enjoy fresh!
