Kadi patta Paneer

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • ⁠½ tsp jeera
  • ⁠½ tsp black pepper
  • 5-6 dry red chillies
  • Curry leaves (as much as you like
  • 1 tbsp urad dal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 20g ghee
  • 500 g paneer

 

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds, jeera, coriander seeds, black pepper & dry red chillies.
  2. Toss in urad dal & curry leaves,  let them crackle & turn aromatic.
  3. Add salt and mix in fresh paneer cubes.
  4. ⁠Sauté till paneer absorbs all flavours and gets a golden edge.
  5. ⁠Serve hot with roti, rice or enjoy as a protein snack
