Makhana Chaat

Ingredients:
  • 1 or 1-1/2 cup makhana (roasted)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp onions
  • 2 tbsp tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp cucumbers
  • 2 tbsp pomegranates
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli pepper
  • 1 tbsp coriander
  • Lemon juice

Method:

  • In a pan add ghee, put Makhane and roast it for 10 mins. On low flame until slightly crisp. Let the makhane cool down for a while.
  • In a bowl, add onion, tomatoes, cucumber (chopped), pomegranate, 1/2 cup makhane, chaat masala, red chilli pepper, salt, lemon juice and mix it.
  • Serve immediately and garnish with chopped coriander and pomegranate
